3.6 Golem Bandit Beatdown Deck
Wassup guys, Dark Prince (or Dank Prince/Apo the admin on discord) here with my very first guide!
This deck is disgusting but in an amazing way(does that make sense?). This deck is only 3.6 elixir, making it as cheap as some hog decks, and 0.2-1.4 elixir less than other common golem decks.
Real quick, before we go into more details, lemme explain the reason I made this deck, it’s actually quite simple, I hate expensive decks.
Golem is one of my favorite cards in the game, but with it being so expensive, and most of its decks being over 3.8 I couldn’t use it well, but now I can.
Pros:
- The deck is very cheap for it’s play style, this means more pushes, and bigger pushes
- It has more than one possible (although unconventional) win condition.
- You have more than one tank killer, Mini P.E.K.K.A/Inferno Dragon
- When in doubt spell cycle them to death!(should’ve made that rhyme…)
Cons:
- There aren’t many of these, but here are the few I know of
- If your zap is under-leveled, you need log, decreasing air defense
- Counter pushes can catch you off guard easily, don’t waste or just “throw down” troops
- Low air splash without poison/zap
- A lot of people will hate you if you use this deck
3.6 Golem Beatdown Deck
Golem
This is your main win con, also the most expensive card you have coming in at 8 elixir.
Little quote/excerpt from Trainer Lay / Radius’s Golem guide: “Pros often tell you things such as “don’t play Golem until Double Elixir,” and this can be true, with other Golem decks, but this isn’t just any other Golem deck.
At 3.6 elixir Golem is perfectly viable to play as long as they’ve wasted 6 or more elixir defending or pushing. This eliminates the risk of an immediate counter rush with a card you can’t counter.
You want to try and get 1-2 medium to large pushes throughout the game. The goal of your golem pushes is to only put 1-2 of your troops behind the golem at first, 1 ground and 1 air, that way ICE(in case of emergency) you can always defend a counter push.
TL;DR – Same as all Golem decks, your win con, everything goes behind this card.
Mini P.E.K.K.A: This is by far one of my most favorite cards in the game.
Coming in at 4 elixir and at tourney standard doing 598 dmg, it is a natural tank killer(plus it says “pancakes” when deployed).
This is your ground defense, only use offensively if going for the 3 crown, or a desperate 1-2 crown.
Counters Hogs, Musketeers, Ebarbs, Royal Giants, Giants, basically everything.
Only downside to this card, and this goes for the rest of the cards except spells, it can’t deal with swarms. It needs a spells help.
TL;DR- Main ground defense, not normally used in big pushes unless it’s a counter push
Inferno Dragon:
*heavenly music plays*
This is the key to your success. Without Inferno Dragon you’d have no chance of quickly taking out tanks, and no chance vs air tanks.
Never start with this card.
I don’t care if you must leak Elixir, if this is the only playable card you have then wait! You need this card in your hand as often as possible.
Now, when using this card, whether it’s defending or attacking, pair Mega Minion or Mini P.E.K.K.A with it to help defend vs Ewiz that maybe supporting the opponents push.
TL:DR- MP is important, but Inferno Dragon is more than important, never use him alone, never use him first.
Bandit
She’s your main offensive support. Coming in at whopping 3 Elixir and dealing 160 dmg(320 dash dmg), with 780 HP at lvl 1 or tourney standard, Bandit is perfect for placing behind a Golem and destroying towers with ease.
She’s not only your best offensive support, she’s also a major defensive card in this deck. Her dash, and just general 160 DPS is perfect for killing small to medium HP cards.
TL;DR- Used mainly for offense, but perfect for defending small troops
Mega Minion
Your main air defense, sure Inferno Dragon kills tanks, but Mega Minion kills everything else in the air (and ground but you know what I mean).
When using on offense, try to have Zap or Poison in hand if your opponent has some swarming air troop. Mega Minion don’t do well vs swarms.
All in all, just keep it alive in pushes and you’re golden.
TL;DR- Main air defense, main air support on offense.
Ice Spirit:
Cycle/Support, good on defense too but not by itself (obviously).
Can be used for quick MP/Bandit pushes if you want to deal some damage without Golem
Poison:
Chip damageeeeee!
Perfect support spell and chip spell for this deck. Kills air and ground troops.
Can be replaced for Fireball for more immediate damage.
Zap
Can be replaced with Log, but you need the air defense, kills Goblin barrels, Goblin gangs, skarmies, etc
General Gameplan:
3:00-1:30
Just defend and try to build up a few small pushes without Golem.
Try to not lose a Tower this early on, but in case you do, just remember this is a Golem deck.
1:30-1:00
These short 30 seconds are key, show them just how strong of a push you can make with Golem, before Double Elixir.
I always go Golem + Bandit and Mega Minion, or Golem + Mega Minion and Poison, just pressure them.
1:00-End
Golem after Golem after Golem, you can cycle through this deck so fast if you do it right by placing a Golem in the back of your side, and cycling through support/defensive cards that by the time the first Golem reaches their side you have another one down.
Show them your full power, spell cycle, create major pushes with 2+ of multiple troops(it’s possible)
Matchups
Giant: 90% win rate
With so many options to kill the Giant and anything else that comes with it, very rarely have I had trouble against it.
The only thing that keeps this from being 100% is Giant Loon decks, which are a problem and lead us into our next matchup.
Balloon: 50% win rate
It all depends on their skill with Balloon, vs your skill with this deck. And even then it can be tough.
You have 1 major Balloon killer, Mega Minion, as Inferno Dragon will mostly be used on any tanks in front of it.
So unless you kill the Balloon quickly it will cause a problem. Always go for 3 crowns vs Balloon decks.
Spell-Bait: 85% win rate
I know what you’re thinking, “but you don’t have Log” and as I mentioned in further up in the guide, you can add Log, but with a zap level 11+(above a10) you should be fine versus spell-bait.
With so many running the nado version instead of Inferno Tower, they have very little to do versus Golem except Rocket support, but if they can’t damage with Goblin Barrel, and can’t Rocket, you normally win.
Hog Rider: 95% win rate
This deck just has so many counters. There is rarely ever a time that a hog deck beats it.
Siege: 100% win rate
Don’t let them lock-on and they have nothing.
Just keep pressuring them with Golem. They’ll have nothing for it and GGWP, you win.
Royal Giant: 100% win rate.
You have too many counters for the Royal Giant itself, and any logical support cards that come with it, such as Elite Barbarians.
Defending and counter-pushing is key to victory.
P.E.K.K.A: 60% win rate
It would be higher, but alas P.E.K.K.A is P.E.K.K.A, she’s the MVP tank killer, your best options to beating P.E.K.K.A is surprise pushes after throwing Golem down on another lane (remember this deck has some mini tanks), or keeping Inferno Dragon alive and behind Golem 24/7
Mega Knight: 99% win rate
It’s normally accompanied with Hogs or Goblin Barrels, so easy matchups.
It can’t kill your Golem quickly and they rarely carry another response.
Graveyard: 80% win rate
You can easily just poison their Graveyard if needed, but usually you have cards in hand able to take it, and it’s support on with ease.
Off meta Graveyard decks with any major tank killers can cause trouble though, so beware.
Tips:
- Play the way it works for you. This guide says multiple times that you can play it just like a Golem beatdown/Cycle deck, but find your comfort zone. Play how suits you.
- Don’t give up, this is a Golem deck, you can be down 2 towers and still comeback, never give up.
- Don’t be scared to start a push first, HELLLOOOOO 3.6 elixir deck.
- Letting a push die is an option, if you see it’s dead, don’t send in that 4 elixir Mini Pekka, or heaven forbid Inferno Dragon to try and kill something that’s already basically killed you. Set up to defend, or start a new push.
- Trading cards in the deck for something else is fine. Just keep inferno dragon. It’s almost necessary(if you don’t have it then Mega Minion and Minions)
And that’s my guide! If you have any questions DM me on discord at Apo#8115. Have fun.

I’m just stupid.
nah, and I luv your profile pic
The problem is offset because you said “3 elixirS”
oh I got confused there lol
this is 2.9

Very good deck, and that last con is very serious tho!
basically by putting the ice spirit this is not beatdown its cycle, but if it had the pump instead of ice spirit it would be beatdown
Tell me how this isn’t beatdown
^^
It is beatdown. Just Cheap Beatdown. Ice Spirit instead of pump is what makes it cheaper, I agree with that.
Using arrows instead of zap may be better since one golem push usually takes out the inferno tower, and since you can place tons of golems you can outcycle their inferno tower. Mega minion for inferno drags, of course, and the arrows would show better in defending overleveled minion hordes, commonly seen everywhere.
Any suggestion for someone who doesn’t have inferno dragon?
inferno tower
Duh
Fifth no one claimed
How would you take care of inferno tower without zap?
If you were questioning ME, ya hit the wrong reply button. You should be able to take down the inferno tower with support troops when the golem dies unless he commits more troops than just their inferno tower, and you would cycle to another golem before their next inferno tower. Of course, you might have your own playstyle, but minion hordes are pretty deadly and I have a hard time dealing with them.
If you weren’t questioning me then ignore this
Yea plus he has Zap, so IT should be no sweat.
5th no one claimed
Oh wait… shit
Wait… what are you going too do against spell-bait?
idk
Why the mini pekka and the inferno dragon? Don’t they do the same thing (killing tanks)?
Probably they get countered by assist troops such as Night witch can counter mini PEKKA because of the bats, and E-wiz counters ID.
So I could have more than 1 answer
The copy deck thing has Fireball instead of MPEKKA
When you click Play, and it sends you to deckshop(idk if it does on mobile) modify it into Mini Pekka, Will must’ve messed up when he put it in, that’s our bad
Super weak to Spell-bait. Rip
I myself have a lvl 12 zap, so even when i’m at 4300 their main thing (gob barrel) can rarely live through it. That’s why I mentioned log, but also mentioned it will weaken to air. In other words, I rarely lose to spell bait when I use this deck
My friend just got into Hog using a lvl 12 zap and I’m at 3600 trying to get my minions to lvl 11 (my highest common, with 969/1000)
Lvl12 Zap to reach Hog Mountain is simply too much…and people wonder why over leveling is a prob
Nice guide tho. I wish there was a matchups section
*coughs* coming in a bit
bandit’s 3 elixir
I’m just stupid lel
It’s okay; we all are.
Lol
heh
So am eye, I am very stoopid? Me Verry Bade at Spullung. Pluz Excuze My Spell. LOL
Been looking for a good bandit golem deck for a while since all the other ones have night witch
Well, here you go! Have fun
psst… hey man, bandit is 3 elixir, not 4. Still a good deck tho
OH COME ON!
Man You said P.E.K.K.A: 60% win rate
It would be higher, but alas P.E.K.K.A is P.E.K.K.A, she’s the MVP tank killer, your best options to beating P.E.K.K.A is surprise pushes after throwing Golem down on another lane (remember this deck has some mini tanks), or keeping *Inferno Tower* alive and behind golem 24/7
Inferno dragon not tower i suppose and great deck… I simply loved it!
When an ADD person writes a guide lmao, I guess I got distracted
YOU HATE HEAVY DECK!!!! :O How could you!!!
AGREEEEDDD
heavy decks rock
no they dont
Nice deck, guys i have a question:I already have 40000 coins but i dont want to do.What legendary should i buy?
Its between princess,nw,and bandit.Which one?
(BTW ive been TLDR the guides and too lazy to comment)
What deck do u use and what tropy range are you in?
If u want to try log bait, then buy the princess!
Im at the start of hog mountain(too lazy to push plus exam) and im actually im trying log bait and my fav deck is cycle deck.Maybe ill try princess.
I would agree with princess. She’s a bit more versatile in decks than bandit and NW (which both generally appear in beatdown, Bandit sometimes in Control).
*cough* this deck is cycle beatdown and it has bandit
Hehehe, we’ll see
Lol nice guide…tho the win-rates are too high…100% simply can’t exist…except may be against Xbow
I didn’t include lag or silly 1 time mistakes, insane overleveling etc. So based off leveled matches I beat those decks 100% of the time, including that stuff it’d be 90%
Sounds like someone needs to play test their decks a little more…
I mean, I used this deck some 40 times over the 3 days it took to make this guide, so, I could’ve tested more, and possibly lowered a few slightly. But I doubt it. Not to mention, those were my win rates, I made the deck, I use it and understand it well, now for anyone else they maybe different
Not sure about any of the rest of you, but when someone puts a “winrate” under the match-ups tab, the reputability of the whole guide goes waaaaaay down. It always seems like they are over-confident in their deck and can do anything.
100% siege winrate? seriously? You’re saying that if you run this deck (and don’t do any mistakes) you will always win if their win condition is Mortar or X – Bow. Likewise with Royal Giant. Similar with Mega Knight.
Probably just X – Bow Bias…
Hi, creater of the deck/guide here. I personally use siege when not using some cycle deck like this or a hog cycle deck, and Golem is easily your worst matchup, a cheap golem deck being even worse. So yes, 100% win rate unless they’re insanely overleveled and you have nothing, you lag, or you mess up.
I agree. If anything, without pump it’s harder for them because they don’t get the opportunity to punish you. No opening and you have Golem in hand much quicker.
does it rek ebarbs? just… DON’T ELITE BARBS ME (barbs me barbs me..) and also: what do u do if they have exenado ro rocknado?(rocketnado)
Yes, it rekts ebarbs. As for if they have exe-nado or rocketnado you just gotta out cycle them and hope for the best
how does it wreck ebarbs tho bandit n mini pekka arent great counters to ebarbs
How level dependent is this deck? I’m considering using this to get to 3800 but my golem/poison are only level 4 and my bandit is still at lvl 1
Golem beatdown tends not to be too level dependent. A lot of the cards in this deck are also in the same bracket, such as megaminion (Can survive a fireball up to 2 levels higher than it!) and inferno dragon.
Poison is a highly level dependent card. The cards you usually like to poison are squishy swarms (skeletons, goblins, bats, minions, archers, etc) and mid HP support cards (musketeers, Ewiz, etc). Problem is your poison is likely to be lower level than overlevelled swarms like minions and goblins, which will last a surprisingly long time under an underlevelled poison. The thing is you need poison for area control in this deck without splash damage, but it should still do the job.
#latereply Past 3k just need tourney standard cards at least
lol all cards are the same except zap and golem zap is 11 and golem is 2
Since your dank prince, replace the mini pekka with him! just a thought
#latereply I’m sure I could, since mine is lvl 6, but depends splash vs. dmg
My golem s lv 7 loll favorite card from spell valley! ( golem used to be in spell valley) for rg decks : roflroflroflrofl
can u replace mini pekka with lumberjack? cause my m p is level 7 and lumberjack can be level 2
Its really disgusting in a good manner 😛
Mini Pekka buff…hehehehehehe
How do you handle inferno towers placed against your golem?
um i tried it against a friend. it worked well. after three ladder matches. i had dropped around 90 trophies due to the fact that i faced all experienced balloon players. lol
