I saw this very interesting Sparky Graveyard yesterday and really wanted to share it with you guys. This deck was shared by Toxxik. Surprisingly, he made it to even 4,600 trohies with this deck!
Also, I have a fun fact for you. It is Sparky has the highest winrate when being used in Legendary Arena, not in the below Arenas.
Sparky Graveyard Deck
Note: I know that with my card levels I could get higher, but I began to use this deck about 1 week ago and am quite happy with the progress, (Feel free to roast me in comments)
Basic Tips for Sparky
As we all know, people have been calling Sparky #trashcanonwheels since 1990. However, you can use her to counter a lot of decks in high Arenas via the right ways. If you time it correctly, Sparky can even shut down a strong bridge spam combo by blasting both Battle Ram and Bandit at once.
Having Rocket or Electro Wizard doesn’t mean she is no longer a problem.
In this meta, she really shines when used on defense rather than on offense. She can give you lots of positive Elixir trades when played on the same lane as the opponent’s pushes.
Sometimes I like placing the Ice Golem in front of her to provide a little support.
However, don’t expect too much to see her shooting a blast on the Tower, which is nearly impossible. Doing this to force your opponents to react and gaining the Elixir lead. And If your opponent doesn’t have enough skills at dealing with her. Bang! More positive Elixir trades.
This deck works very wells against Beatdown decks simply because of Sparky’s splash damage.
When seeing Sparky, most of people believe that she is the win condition in your deck. They will get over-confident and start playing more aggressively, thinking there is no way for this trash deck to win this game.
Maybe because of this reason, this deck has been working surprisingly well even against decks using Rocket, Electro Wizard etc. You just need to change your placements a bit once you’ve seen their Rockets.
While using this deck, you will have troubles against Lavaloon because of the lack of air defense. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t win in this matchup.
If you can get a Tower early and force a sudden death, you will be able to apply tons of pressure in an all-out push.
This deck also has troubles against some Hog Cycle decks.
Use the Graveyard as your secret weapon.
Your offensive units are Graveyard, Night Witch, Ice Golem, Knight, Goblin Gang and Poison.
Push with Graveyard Poison and Ice Golem/Knight tanking.
This deck works great at getting the opponent to overcommit defending the Sparky, making your Graveyard push later on more dangerous.
In the first 2 minutes, try to find out all of the opponent’s cards and only play Graveyard after they waste their best Graveyard counter. A quick Graveyard Poison deck in this situation can almost always take out the Tower. This can even force them to waste more Elixir trying to defend the Tower which is far gone.
While playing this deck, defense is the way to winning. Use Goblin Gang, Night Witch, Knight, Sparky and Ice Golem to defend.
I usually use Sparky to take out the tank while Knight/Ice Golem is distracting the supports behind. This is the most effective strategy of this deck.
Against Hog Rider, Battle Ram etc you can use Night Witch instead of Sparky. Those cards have very fast movement speed and can reach the Tower before your Spasky blasts.
Try not to play Sparky too soon unless you know that they are going to continue pushing on that lane. Otherwise, you will be punished very hard If they make a sneak push on the other lane.
Keep in mind:
Don’t forget that Sparky is a high risk high reward card. It is pretty hard to use her at the beginning but it will become easier after a while.
Luckily, due to Night Witch, the userate of Electro Wizard has been significantly decreased.
