Hey, guys, it’s ExYz here and today I’m gonna write a small guide on this P.E.K.K.A Bridge Spam deck.
So let’s start off with what “Free” means in the title. It’s free because you can change it the way you want! You can add Dark Prince, Battle Ram, Hog Rider; anything!
PEKKA, Bandit, Electro Wizard (These cards are a must-have in the deck.), Elixir Pump (Replaceable with Battle Ram for a more offensive deck), Minions (Replaceable with Bats for faster cycle), Ice Spirit (Replaceable with Dark Prince if you want more splash in the deck), Zap (For countering small units), Poison (To pair with your push if they have Goblin Gang or Skeleton Army)
The deck itself is really easy to play since it can counter many cards like Mega Knight, Giant and even Golem! So let’s see what the cards will be used for in the deck.
P.E.K.K.A: As in most decks, the P.E.K.K.A is a defensive card. Works very well against Mega Knight and Giant, but not very well against Golem decks. Let’s talk about why.
First of all, the P.E.K.K.A and the Golem are slow moving and hitting units, causing the P.E.K.K.A countering the Golem a bit slow. The Golem will get at least 700 damage on the Tower against this deck.
Secondly, there will be a lot of troops behind the Golem (Might be any card!), the P.E.K.K.A might aggro on them and the Golem will just destroy the Tower.
So it’s important to support the P.E.K.K.A too!
Bandit: The Punisher!
If your opponent starts off with a Lava Hound (People don’t prefer starting with Golem), just send the Bandit on the other side and watch the Tower go down to 1500 HP!
She is also a very good defense card against low cost but high damage troops.
Electro Wizard: The Electro Wizard is your only counter to the Inferno Dragon, Inferno Tower and the Sparky.
Dealing with Inferno Dragon might be very annoying if you don’t have Electro Wizard in the cycle, the Inferno Dragon will just destroy the P.E.K.K.A and slowly go to your Tower.
You need to use him just perfectly, not for punishment.
Elixir Pump: You know what to do with the Elixir Pump, no need to explain.
Battle Ram: If you don’t care about the P.E.K.K.A dying in defense, you can use the Battle Ram to counterpush (a push made with the troops after defense).
You can support it with anything you want.
Minions or Bats: Why did I put them on the same line? Because they both do the same job; taking out Balloons, defending and so on!
These are one of the best air defenses in your deck.
Ice Spirit: Works so well when you have to cycle to a certain card. It offers so much value.
With only 1 Elixir, he freezes the enemy troops for 1.5s and deals great damage (with the price).
Dark Prince: As I said, if you want to counter decks like Log Bait, you will really want this card in your deck.
The Dark Prince offers so much value too. It’s 4 Elixir, it does splash damage, it has charge damage and it has a shield!
What more could you want from a 4 Elixir card?
Zap: Ah the usual Zap, mostly used to counter Skeleton Army and Goblin Barrel, resets the charge of Inferno Dragon, Inferno Tower and Sparky.
It offers just so much value!
Poison: Two words: MINION HORDE!
The Minion Horde is a perfect counter to this deck, so the Poison is needed anytime!
You can’t know whether you are against a Golem or Three Musketeers until the opponent deploys it anyway.
This is the part of the battle where you can’t gain much Elixir, so the Elixir Pump is a great card here.
If the opponent has an expensive deck like Three Musketeers, Golem, Mega Knight Golem or even the same deck as yours (I will talk about what to do against Mirror-matchups and decks like this), they can’t make a very big push so try to chip the Tower with the Bandit and Electro Wizard.
This is where heavy decks shine and where cycle decks are a bit weaker, so this deck will be TOO strong after Double Elixir period.
You need to stop pumping up and try to defend every push they make with the P.E.K.K.A and then counterpush with every card you have!
Log Bait: Let’s start off with one of the hardest one.
The Log Bait counters everything in this deck so it might be hard to win here.
Most likely, they will either start with a Princess or Goblin Gang at the back of the Crown Tower. If they start with Princess, Poison it because the Princess can get annoying chip damage on your Tower. If they use Goblin Gang, try to defend the side where there are more Goblins.
As they do, chip away their Tower with Bandit while they spend all their Elixir trying to destroy your Tower.
Golem: If they start with a Golem at the back which is a very dumb play to make, quickly punish them with Bandit and Electro Wizard.
Later on, you only have to defend every push they make and then counterpush. They only have small units and small defense units so it’s easy to get a Tower.
Lava Balloon: You don’t have a perfect counter to Lavaloon like Executioner Tornado combo, so you just have to push the other lane.
Then, it’s a matter of luck who gets the king Tower first.
Giant Beatdown: Oh my god this matchup is too easy!
Just counter Giant with P.E.K.K.A and counterpush. You will easily get the 3 crown win.
Three Musketeers: BAM! Poison.
This is one of the main reasons why this deck has the Poison. It’s a perfect counter to Three Musketeers and there is a 5 Elixir advantage.
You can defend the Battle Ram with the Electro Wizard. The P.E.K.K.A is just a tank for all the support units!
Mega Knight Balloon: Again, defend the Mega Knight with P.E.K.K.A and counter the Balloon with Minions or Bats, maybe even Electro Wizard.
This is one of the hard matchups too so you need to be careful about not getting a single hit from the Balloon and the Mega Knight.
Hog Cycle: This is a bad matchup too.
Hog cycle decks are very strong in single Elixir time and you don’t have any proper counters to the Hog Rider.
The P.E.K.K.A is just overspending, the Bandit doesn!t completely kill him, the Electro Wizard can’t kill it very well, Minions die to Arrows so this deck is bad against Hog Rider decks.
Miner Control: Very easy!
Counter the Miner with Electro Wizard or Bandit and start your counterpush.
If they don’t have P.E.K.K.A in their deck, this is a very good matchup.
So I guess this is the end, if you want more details about the deck and me, here is my email:
