Bowler Barrel Is Back! Strong Old-school Combo for the New Meta!
Wassup everybody!
It’s me, Supermarine, here again to give you guys a tricked out Bowler Barrel Deck that got my clanmate Shocklegs FTW from 3800 all the way to Challenger 3!
So, without further ado, here it is!
Bowler Barrel Combo
Cards Breakdown:
Bowler : This guy is so expendable!
Tank, swarm control, and glass cannon removal with Tornado, he can do it all! The best part is, for as underrated as he may be, he can really pack a punch on offense and defense, killing Elite Barbarians, and most Hog Rider pig pushes as well!
Overall, I’d like to see more of this guy, as he’d work so well in the current meta!
Goblin Barrel: Your win condition.
Pretty self explanatory, I’m pretty sure you guys know all the possible placements: Center placement for maximum damage, Deep placement for Log users or to get Pumps.
Princess: Your form of air crowd control.
Kills Minion Horde, Skarmy, and Goblin Gang for a positive or neutral trade.
She also has long range, meaning you can place her in the left lane, and she may be capable of targeting troops in the right lane! She is a big threat on offense too.
Use her on her own to really punish the opponent after spending heavy amounts of Elixir, or use her with Bowler or a Tornado to rip through any swarm!
Tornado: Self-explanatory card.
Works well with Princess and Bowler, and can move troops to the King Tower.
Rocket: We could’ve gone Fireball to help have an additional synergy with Tornado.
But, chances are you’d rather use a Tornado with a Bowler or Princess. So, we’re runnin’ Rocket!
Rocket is a great card that can take out 3M, Pumps, and even Sparky! You can also use it to reduce the biggest Beatdown pushes to rubble, leaving you with the Mini P.E.K.K.A to kill the tank. But be careful!
It costs 6 Elixir, so you have to use it wisely.
Inferno Tower: A very good structure to use on defense.
It is capable of killing tons of tanks, including Lava Hound. Even Mega Knight is susceptible to the Inferno Tower if it is well protected by Bowler or Mini P.E.K.K.A.
Overall, is a mostly self explanatory card.
Mini P.E.K.K.A: The one and only Mighty Pancake Destroyer!
He deals tons of damage, especially after his buff, on mini tanks that you would probably not want to use your Inferno Tower on. You can also pair him (yes, he is a guy), with a Rocket to really dent Beatdown pushes. He also counters Battle Ram and 3M splits quite well.
Overall, he has multiple uses, and gives you the freedom to use the Inferno Tower on a much more dangerous card.
Bats: These little flying fiends have taken the Arena by storm, and for a very good reason!
Their DPS is insane, and their cost is really low, meaning you can use them for cycle, Zap Bait and more! You can even kill glass cannons if you surround it with them!
Overall, they are one of the most versatile cards in the game!
General Gameplan
3:00 – 1:00
Play defensively.
Use your Bowler and other defensive cards to shut down enemy pushes, then counterpush with your Barrel. Princess and the Bats also help on offense, allowing you to easily pick off Minions from a Horde.
Rocket any Pump or glass cannon you see.
1:00 – End
At this point you will want to cycle Rockets whilst still defending.
Once the Arena Tower is at 1,000 health or lower, you can use Rocket+Goblin Barrel (I call it the Clutch Combo) to try to take the easy Tower.
Matchups:
Giant: You can use the Inferno Tower or the Mini P.E.K.K.A to take out the Giant.
You can also use the Bats or Bowler to take out any support behind it.
Golem: Here, you will definitely need your Inferno Tower to take this guy out. If Lightning is used, then use your Mini P.E.K.K.A. Like Giant, Bowler or Bats work against support.
Use Tornado if necessary.
Lava Hound: Inferno Tower.
If it gets Zapped, use the Bats. Use Princess+Tornado to kill Pups if necessary. Also, if there is a Balloon, Tornado it to the King Tower.
Just be sure that the Arena Towers can target the Balloon!
Hog: You have four different counters to this guy (Inferno Tower, Bowler, Tornado, Mini P.E.K.K.A).
What could go wrong?
3M: You will definitely want to Rocket the 3M if they’re together.
If they’re apart, use Mini P.E.K.K.A on the side with two and Bowler+Tornado on the side with one, as you can Tornado the Muskie and any mini tanks your opponent may place.
Or, just Rocket the side with two and Bats+Mini P.E.K.K.A to deal with the one Musket, along with any mini tanks.
Miner Poison: If possible, Tornado the Miner to the King. This will help mitigate the damage you take from a Miner Poison push.
Use Bats or Mini P.E.K.K.A on whatever Miner may be tanking for. If you absolutely must, you can also use the Mini P.E.K.K.A to kill the Miner.
P.E.K.K.A: Use the Inferno Tower and protect it from swarms with Princess+Tornado or Bowler+Tornado.
If it gets Zapped, use Bats. Use Mini P.E.K.K.A on any support that there may be.
Spell Bait: Bowler, Princess, and Bats are excellent crowd control cards.
This helps because there is no low-damaging spell in the deck except Tornado.
Use Tornado on Goblin Barrels to activate your King Tower.
Mega Knight: Inferno Tower and Mini P.E.K.K.A excel against Mega Knight.
Also, the Inferno Tower helps to bait Zap so you can safely deploy your Bats. Use Mini P.E.K.K.A on support.
Conclusion
So that’s all for this Spell Bait deck! Like it? Leave a comment if you have feedback! See y’all next time! Supermarine out!
