Hey guys, I’m Infinite Light, and today I’m going to show you a great P.E.K.K.A Poison deck that reached 5.1k trophies.
This is not my account, instead it is my clanmate’s. (I tried out the deck with my low levels (11,8,5,2) and it boosted me up to about 4.7k as a level 10.) Bare in mind that he is maxed because he chose to spend money on the game. Also, he goes against level 13’s and 12’s with the same levels as him all the time, and he still manages to beat them even with lower tower health. His card levels are normal at the 5.1k trophy count.
P.E.K.K.A Poison Deck
The clanmate right off the bat states that this deck is hard to use. It looks easy, but when you first try it out, you may lose a few.
This deck is also not that great for Free-To-Play players as it has three Legendaries and 3 Epics.
The win condition of this deck is mostly the Miner and Poison combo, and sometimes the damage from P.E.K.K.A or Dark Prince. Surprisingly, the P.E.K.K.A is actually not the win condition. It is used as defense most of the time, as the P.E.K.K.A can easily kill every tank in the game.
Always try to switch up Miner positions. The Dark Prince is really underrated, and it does provide insane value at times. The P.E.K.K.A can be used offensively after a successful defense. If the P.E.K.K.A is still alive, try to send in Miner and Dark Prince behind the P.E.K.K.A. Poison is great when used alongside the P.E.K.K.A, as it kills cheap units used to kite and distract the P.E.K.K.A. Sometimes, when he knows the opponent has no Elixir, he will drop down the P.E.K.K.A at the bridge without any supports, so the opponent uses even more Elixir to defend, and therefore can’t maintain a push.
It may seem hard to defend against LavaLoon with Lightning, but the deck is pretty decent against them. The clanmate usually pressures the other side with Miner or P.E.K.K.A and Poison. LavaLoon usually only has Skarmy and Tombstone for defense, and Poison easily annihilates them. The Mega Minion should be used mainly for the Balloon, while Ice Wiz and Princess take care of the Lavahound.
P.E.K.K.A: Main defense card and/or sometimes the win condition. Good against any tank
Poison: Paired with Miner or P.E.K.K.A for insane value. Does a lot of damage after the changes, and can be used on defense against bait decks.
Dark Prince: Underrated but good card. Can be paired with Miner or P.E.K.K.A. Does good damage and clears swarms.
Ice Wiz: Good splash damage card and slow effect is valuable
Princess: Long ranged, splash damage, chip troop. Good against swarms and bait decks.
Zap: It’s zap
Mega Minion: Main source of air defense. Incredible, and can offer great value even after the nerfs.
Miner: Main Win condition most of the time. P.E.K.K.A should be used for Defense only, while Miner is for offense. Paired with Poison can deal hundreds of damage.
Weakness: This deck is generally strong against most decks. Some weaknesses would be LavaHound decks, as well as good mortar players.
Against beatdown: The P.E.K.K.A should be used to kill the main tank when Dark Prince and Mega Minion is dealing with the support. Beatdown against this deck is pretty easy easy.
Against Cycle and Siege decks: The P.E.K.K.A is great against Hogs because her deploy time is one second now. Against cycle decks, make sure to keep the pressure so they can’t always make the full combo. P.E.K.K.A is very good against X-Bow and Mortar.
Against Graveyard: Usually, Graveyard has a tank paired with it. Use P.E.K.K.A to kill the tank, and Poison for the Graveyard. This usually nullifies any damage you otherwise would have taken. Poison is now a very hard counter to the Graveyard!
Sometimes, Miner and Dark Prince together works great. Miner and Poison is also very good in this deck, as it clears the troops used to defend miner, and does a lot of damage to the tower.
Dark Prince and P.E.K.K.A is also another good combo, as the dark prince’s splash damage can get rid of most small troops. P.E.K.K.A Poison is also great.
This deck is super fun to play with. It looks easy, but when you try it out, it actually takes skill and knowledge of the deck to do well with. When I first tried it out, I lost a couple in a row. I kept trying, and eventually I understood the main combos and with the advice of my friend, pushed me past 4700 as a level 10.
Overall, this deck is extremely fun and takes a lot of skill to use.
