Hey how’s it going guys! It’s RSivak here with a brand new Hog Rocket deck that has got some great wins in Arena 9. This deck does have 2 Legendaries and only one is replaceable. This deck is a simple chip cycle deck with the Hog and Furnace keeping pressure on your opponent, while using other cards for defense then a strong counter push. But enough chit chat lets get right into the deck!
Hog Furnace Deck for Arena 7+
In this deck we’re going to use these cards:
Average Elixir Cost ~ 3.75
This deck is more defense-oriented, because I like gaining advantage of Elixir and counterpushing and double-lane pushing.
Furnace (Main Card): Here I’m going to talk more about my choice. This card is just great, if it doesn’t get hurt it spawns 2 fire spirits every 10 seconds on a total duration of 50 seconds, which means 10 fire spirits for the cost of 4 Elixir. It has decent HP, the amount of Fire Spirits spawned per 10 seconds is enough to evaporate the most popular defense for Hog or Mini P.E.K.K.A pushes, the Minion Horde. 2 Fire Spirits spawned by the Furnace cost 0.8 elixir which is the cheapest counter to the Minion Horde, but at the same time they can destroy any distraction or cheap defense such as the Spear Gobs or the regular Gobs, they can destroy the Witch’ skeletons, and they can deal nice damage to the Tower too! They deal nice damage to the Barbarians, they deal with the Skeleton Army, the Furnace is just aperfect Building, whose spawns contribute in cheap pushes. That’s the reason i made this Hog Rider deck featuring “The Fire Spirit Spawner”, to maximize this card’s effective in battle.
Hog Rider: Not much about him, one of the best offensive cards. Decent HP, regular Elixir cost, Powerful. Pair it up with Mini P.E.K.K.A and 2 Fire Spirits for a complex push. You can also couple him with other troops to bypass buildings.
The Log: Finishes off swarms your Princess or Furnace might miss, takes out enemy Princesses, can be substituted for Arrows if you don’t have it. I use Arrows image instead of The Log above because lots of players don’t have The Log. If you are lucky enough to obtain this awesome card, don’t forget to check out this guide!
Princess: Hands down, Princess is always one of the best Legendary cards! She deals 140 damage to a Tower per shot without being targeted, capable of burning Minion Hordes, Barbarians, Goblins, Skeletons to a crisp. She is irreplaceable because of her long range AoE damage supporting troops from afar and her ability to become a siege weapon. You can replace her with Archers, Ice Wizard…
Skeleton Army: Since the recent buff, I have seen this card a lot and for good reason, they can scythe through even the toughest tanks, and then go on to charge the tower. This card is handy for baiting out The Log or Arrows so your Princess can deal damage later on. Skeleton Army can shut down a tower if not guarded against. Mainly used for defense.
Rocket: Perfect if your opponent is throwing walls of defense against your pushes to take out the enemy tower, save for 3 Musketeers which are very popular or Sparky, make sure it hits the tower as well! This card can get you the victory by finishing off a weakened tower. Decent counter to the Elite Barbarians!
Mini P.E.K.K.A: You can use her in cheap pushes instead of the Hog, you can use her on defense too, her powerful hits and his fast movement speed make the Mini P.E.K.K.A an excellent choice. Amazing card! Versatile on both offense and defense. Please take a look at this page for more details about her!
Minions: Great defense troop, lone Valkyrie, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Knight or Musketeer coming at the tower, drop these little guys to take them out! Shuts down Balloons or Lava Hounds, but be wary if you encounter too many Lava Hound decks it might be advisable to switch to the Mega Minion. I use Minions in this deck mainly to bait out spells.
Lets get into it, this deck is deck where you want to keep the pressure on your opponent, keep him on his toes, place a Furnace and or Princess and then send out a Hog Rider to see how he defends, if he defends with Mini P.E.K.K.A next time drop your Mini P with your Hog Rider for killing the enemies Mini P. Barbarians and Minion Hordes should fall to the combined might of your furnace and Princess. Don’t hesitate to use the Rocket if an opportunity presents itself. Damaging the tower and taking out a pump is great value, or wiping out the opponents Sparky or 3 Musketeers and damaging the tower can be very satisfying. Make sure you always have a furnace up to keep those Fire Spirits spawning and harassing him opponent, the Furnace can take out a good chunk of his tower if it is ignored.
You might run into trouble with Lava Hound Decks, if so swap out the Mini P.E.K.K.A with Mega Minion, and you should be fine.
Golem/Giant decks, all you need to do is pull the Golem with your Furnace and then destroy the support with Mini P Princess and Minions while your Skeletons kill off the tank.
Use your Skeleton Army to bait out their Log or Arrows so your Princess is not hindered.
Maintaining a Furnace at all times is key, so they can keep the pressure on your opponent, forcing him to defend against the fire spirits.
Hog Push while either 2 Fire Spirits are behind the Hog or the Princess is aiding from a distance.
Use your defensive Mini P.E.K.K.A then counter push with Skeleton Army, or Princess.
Rocket smartly, don’t Rocket a lone tower unless it will die to that Rocket, by the same token, don’t Rocket a tower with 200 hp, send a Hog, Princess or Log it down.
