Hey guys, I am D-Mate19 and I have made a new Hog Zap deck that I would like to share, it has pushed my clanmate to Legendary Arena. Here it is!
Push to Legendary Arena with Hog Zap!
It is surprisingly powerful for its average Elixir cost of 2.8. It also contains no Epic or Legendary at all, making it extremely Free-to-Play. So without further ado, let’s get started!
Hog Rider: Obviously the main card of this deck. For 4 Elixir he offers great value. Thanks to the fact that many defences have been nerfed, the Hog Rider has become very powerful. Use him on offensively with Goblins, Spear Goblins, Mini P.E.K.K.A and Zap.
Zap Spell: This card gives great value for 2 Elixir. It counters Goblins, Spear Goblins, and Skeletons. The biggest strength we take advantage of with this deck is the one second Stun, allowing the Hog Rider to at least get one more hit before dying. It can also be used for re-targeting troops and resetting Sparky.
Mini P.E.K.K.A:This card has great value for its cost. On defense, it is a tank killer. Killing Golems and Giants with ease. On offense, it destroys Crown Towers very quickly, and many people believe there push is successful of it gets one hit. In this deck, it is essential to killing Wizard and Bomber, because every other troop (other than Hog) can be easily killed by them. If you are a big fan of her, you should take a look at this Mini P.E.K.K.A deck!
Skeletons: This card gives the best value of any card. You can use it for luring to kill Minions and Goblins, killing Wizard and Musketeer, and distract any troop. For one Elixir, it does so a lot. It is also great if you need to circulate your cards to a different card. Always use this card for defense. Never use it on offense, they are too weak and a up waste!
Goblins: This card is very strong. It can do everything Skeletons can and more. There main use is on offense with the Hog Rider. If they get to a tower, they can destroy it.
Spear Goblins: Alone, the can deal almost 300 damage to a tower. When given cover, they can become an efficient damage dealer. This card is so versatile, I’m sure you can find a way to use them in almost any scenario.
Cannon: Again, a great card. Even after the two nerfs, it will still take out a Hog Rider. With its cheap cost, you will almost always be able to place it down. It can also be used to take out Goblins, Spear goblins, and Valkyrie, as well as pull troops to the center.
Fireball: This is your main defensive spell. Because the zap can’t kill a Minion Horde or Barbarians, and the fact it is used mainly on offense, the Fireball makes very good Elixir tradeoffs. Just take a look at this ultimate guide to read more about it!
This is a beatdown deck. Your goal is to overpower with your Hog. Because of the insanely low average Elixir cost, you can often circulate to your Hog before there defend comes back around. By the end of the game, if the tower has enough HP to be taken out by 1-3 Fireballs, just apply pressure and circulate to it.
Unfortunately, this deck doesn’t have a lot of good starting hands. The best way to start is usually Goblins, Skeletons, or Spear Goblins behind your tower and slowly build them up. Once they get to the bridge, throw down your Hog Rider or Mini P.E.K.K.A.
P.E.K.K.A Decks: These are the easiest to counter. Throw down a Mini P.E.K.K.A if needed to kill a Wizard or Dark Prince or other splash cards then a few cheap cards. They also counter it because it take full advantage of the average cost usually near 4.5
Prince/Dual Prince Decks: Same as above
Royale Giant Deck: It takes some skill, but you should be able to deal with these. Use a Cannon to defend then any other troops to deal some damage.
Hut Decks: Hands down the hardest deck to beat. Luckily, this deck has two spells in it, so it is possible to pull of a draw. If you want to go more aggressive, use Hog Rider Goblins and bypass a Barbarian spawned the second it gets placed.
Balloon Decks: if you find these, you are likely going to get three crowned. Only one troop in this deck can target air, leaving it extremely vulnerable. Luckily, after the Freeze Spell nerf, these decks are pretty rare
Hog Rider Decks: you should be able to beat Hog-Freeze decks easily by simply placing one small unit then another once he freezes. Hog-Zap Decks are 50-50 win rates and usually very close matches.
Okay so so that’s that! Hope you have found this Hog Zap deck helpful! Do you need any help? Please comment!
